Born in Iran\, she holds an MFA\nfrom the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA from the\nUniversity of Tehran. Erin J oyce is a curator\, scholar\, and arts writer based in\nPhoenix\, currentl y serving as Vice President of Public Affairs for the\nNative Arts + Cultu res Foundation and Faculty Associate at Arizona State\nUniversity. Join acclaimed\nar tist Leslie Rego for a two-evening introduction to the expressive art of\n watercolor. Designed for artists of all experience levels\, Leslie will\ng uide participants through the foundational techniques of watercolor\npaint ing\, including brush handling\, color blending\, and creating light and\n shadow.

By the end of the workshop\, complete a watercolor landscap e\nor nature-inspired scene using techniques demonstrated in the workshop.

All materials will be provided.

You are also welcome to bring your paper to print\non . Caty Kendall will be assisting everyone with using the press and\nlearni ng some of the basics of the printmaking process.
