Join artist Abigail Bordigioni for a session of plein air painting —an artful practice of painting outdoors, directly from life, where shifting light, fresh air, and the beauty of the landscape become part of your creative process. Set among the vibrant gardens of the Hunger Coalition, you’ll be invited to slow down, observe closely, and let nature guide your brush. Abigail will offer some tips and tricks for working with watercolors.
Spanish language instructions will be provided.
All painting materials will be provided as part of the event, although participants are welcome to bring their own watercolor supplies if preferred.
In the event of bad weather, we will move into the café at the Hunger Coalition and paint still lifes or go into the greenhouses and paint vegetables and fruit. Free Community Lunch available from The Hunger Coalition, donations welcome.
