This is a great medium for those who like\nto draw and is equally accessible to those who prefer to bring an i mage\nthat can be placed under a clear plastic plate to guide their mark m aking.\nAbstract and representational images are both compatible with this process.\nExplore inking and collage techniques for adding color. Leave w ith a small\nedition of prints and the skills for producing drypoint print s with or\nwithout a press.

About the Instructor

Amy Nack’s\nlove affair with paper began with a career in marketing for a national\npaper and packaging manufacturer. At 55\, she returned to scho ol to receive\na BFA in Printmaking and Art History at Boise State Univers ity. Amy serves\nas a teaching artist with Idaho Commission on the Arts\, Boise Art Museum\,\nIdaho Parents Unlimited\, Idaho Juvenile Corrections\, and Speedball Arts.\nShe is the founder of Wingtip Press\, a community pr intmaking studio in\nBoise\, Idaho and serves as an adjunct instructor in the Printmaking and Art\nEducation programs of Boise State’s Department of Art\, Design and Visual\nStudies.
